This is a completely preserved prehistoric grave, consisting of 8 wall stones and two cupstones. The western cupstone has many circular dips in it, see also the Deuvelstein. One of these dips is surrounded by a circular groove. Also, hands and feet can be seen. Maybe these marks served social purposes.
Topic of this tour are cups - small artificial holes picked in the surface and are of prehistoric origin. Unfortunately, very little is known about these artifacts. In Bunsoh I cannot imagine, that the marks were made after completion of the grave mound. Probably, they had been there before the graves were constructed? Anyhow, they really look the same, no matter if there are few or many cups. This is a compilation of megaliths elsewhere within my site.
