This menhir stands upon a slope down to the mosel river. On one side the stone is engraved; near the ground there is a circular hollow as in another menhir. Additionally there are two grooves that suggest female breasts. Down at the mosel lies another menhir. Stone disks are usually grand menhirs. Many have a so called blood groove along the small sides. Prehistoric chiselers work indicates a matriarchal meaning on the Eselstratt.
